I’ve seen this before many times with my friends. I remember this guy was bad mouthing his girlfriend/partner/wife in the store…like she was a dog. My friend did not know them at all, but he intervened when the man looked like he was going to grab her and told him to stop disrespecting her. This is why I love the black man. There are still ones who believe in protecting women and children.
The mother said she had tears in her eyes. I did, too. To see them just snap into action like that to save her. It was a beautiful thing. Loved this video.
I was glad to see them step up. I came to a young girl’s defense before when an older guy just started randomly threatening her on a public bus. The driver and other passengers did NOTHING to help this girl when he was in her face saying when she stepped off the bus he was going to beat her up. I took the heat for the young lady to run and the guy followed me for blocks, on my heels, threatening to kill me. I had to walk into a store and say I didn’t know the man before he ran off. Mind you I was downtown during the height of pedestrian traffic. All it takes is to think for a second, what if it was YOUR relative in that situation and no one helped?
